On Saturday, August 12th, 2006, 15 members of The Groove Machine gathered at Portland's waterfront park to perform for "The Bite of Oregon".

This fun filled food fest included a huge talent show on the main stage as part of K105.1 Nelson and Terry Show's Summer Talent Tour.

The group performed for a packed outdoor crowd, and wowed them with their percussive power!

When the dust had settled, The Groove Machine was voted in the top 3 out of 16 acts from all over the country!

Thanks to 105.1 and The Bite for having us - we had a blast and hope to return next year for more food, fun, and music!
