On June 9th, 2006 The Groove Machine performed at the PGE Park "Concert in the Park" to a crowd of thousands! The concert was part of the infamous Portland Rose Festival, including groups from all over the world!

This was the debut of the new and improved Groove Machine! The high light of the day being the debut of the "Rack Hack", a commission composed for us by new staff member Vern Johnson (of Blast! and Blue Devils fame).

Kristin Teel, Special Events Coordinator for the Portland Rose Festival had this to say following the gig:

"Thank you! We were delighted to have you and so glad at the crowd's response. We will keep in touch!"
